Executive Producer May 1981 - Present
Trip 248 Show Adairsville, Georgia
Live At Underground Records

Executive producer and resident DJ of the Trip 248 Rock N Roll Show. Hourly recorded program I began as an experiment in late 1979 featuring music from independent bands and labels. The show was originally passed out on cassettes at rock concerts and club shows beginning in the spring of 1981 and was 90 minutes long. I added interviews with bands and live performances to tape in the mid-80's. In 1990 the Trip 248 show became the main focus of the Underground Records A&R Report, which was a compilation of unsigned bands I sent to recording labels, talent agents and managers. A compact disc version debuted in the mid-90's and the show was trimmed to an hour. I began offering the show as an mp3 download via p2p and ftp in the late 1990's. Since 2006 a new show has been produced monthly and streamed as a podcast via the internet, and offered as an embedded object for placement on websites.

Live at Underground Records is a weekly live podcast airing Saturday nights at 9pm pacific coast time, 12 midnight east coast time. The show is broadcast via the internet using NowLive.com servers, which allow me to broadcast in near real time, and take telephone and internet telephony calls from listeners. I began doing the weekly live broadcasts in August 2007, and features music I have received from bands and labels specifically for broadcast on Live At Underground Records and Trip 248. Plans are to do prerecorded and live interviews with artists as well as live in-studio music performances. Live At Underground Records also features an embedded widget that can be placed on multiple websites.
