SYSTEM X - ORDAINED BY POWER 1 - 4/2001

As I jammed in Adairsville and prepared to work on a new motion picture script idea I had, I hooked together a heavy idea for a SYSTEM X album about the state of things.....Jon "Stumpy" Hazelwood supplied vocals and ideas about things...the name of the album was his idea....he's X-Military, wants to rock n roll....we never could hook up with some players (I feel it is time to look elsewhere than Atlanta metro for a band, this is absolutely fucking ridiculous...) for a full band that would jell....the songs we worked on were mostly new, with a few olders one for a complete set.

TODD WEST - SHORTWAVE 10/2000 - 6/2001

This is actually the sound track to a motion picture script, but the actually body of work began as some experimental ambient recordings. I started the old analogs on 1/4 tape in late 2000, then let them lie as I worked on the story. In the early summer of 2001 I began to get into the meat of both the script and the recordings, some of which I am piece-mealing together on freeware I got off the internet on an old IBM thinkpad...more of a pain in the ass than anything, but a learning experience, er experiment.
