WILD 1/90-1/91
1990 began a slow year as far as songwriting. I put together about three bands throughout the year, none of which lasted over a month, and was bascially tied up trying to get a central focus on a live performing group. I borrowed a drum machine in late 1989 and began "drumming" up some of the songs for Wild. The first song was completed in January of 1990, so I guess you could say thats when I started, and all the songs except the last one were finished by October. I mixed and mastered from December through January of 1991, so that's where it gets it's 1991 copyright. I played all the instruments on this one, and had an old buddy, Richard Kilgore (original Theoria bassist) come in to help some on the crazy side of things. Strangely, Wild had been my best selling release up till the first releases of 1996, when my internet marketing and promoting made the pre-release orders for Marathon Sex Machine, Ambient Chamber, Beer Belly, and the final version of Revelations surpass anything prior in terms of interest and orders.

SYMPHONIC RAVEN 5-6/90
I wrote this EP of instrumentals in reaction to the Birth of my first son, Raven Alexander West, on May 20th, 1990. It is a smooth flowing ambient album entirely made up of guitar feedback textures. I gave out 300 signed copies to purchasers of my past stuff, who were chosen by raffle from the database.

Some crazy stuff happened towards the end of 1990.I couldn't figure out what this LP really stood for, until it hit me about five years later. I realized I had written an LP that was like a crystal ball, it showed the future, and now it has been realized. Some of these songs have worked their way into the live performance. This album is heavy and dark as hell!!!
