I wanted to change the name of the band to Equinox but the other guys wouldn't hear of it. So that's what I called my next complete LP. We didn't play these songs live, I couldn't get the message accross to the others fast enough. Another metaphysical concept album, mundo atmospheric.

FOR SOUL 2-6/86

The first in a trilogy of albums centered on sound experimentation using electronics. Although Midi was here I didn't have the money to purchase that stuff so syncopated drums didn't enter into these ideas, more psychedelic fusion to go!

Second in this concept series see my inner feelings for an era of heavy metal gone by yet not forgotten. I have decided to put this one on the recording schedule because I feel with the resurgence of industrial metal this one will be appreciated.

INCLINATIONS 3/86

I pumped this one up with plenty of delay stack-tracks, machine-like harmonized over-the-top vocals, and lots of screaming guitar. Various musician buddies and I laid the majority of Inclinations to tape with the lush acoustic Send Me Your Love being pushed as the single, a change from most of the other madness on the album. My girlfriend at the time laid the masters on top of my amplifier during practice one night, making sure this recording went down in history!

EUROVIBRATOR 11/86

This one and the next LP were put together and recorded mid to late '86 as I pushed the guys in my band to the limits, and by this time I had changed the name to Equinox and got plenty of bitch about it. While preparing the first Equinox demo I worked solo on Eurovibrator and Extremities using my Tascam 388 8-track I had then-recently bought. On this album I concentrated on different tones and experimentation with polyphonic arrangements via different phrasing and time signatures for each part.

EXTEMITIES 11/86

While heralding the death of sleeze metal, I seperate myself from the known (like I even know what the hell that is) and enjoy recording this atmospheric bastardpiece in the confines of my room, late at night, with no clue as to what I'm trying to do. After three days of intense isolation I finished recording and begin mixing, therefore coming to the conclusion that mixdowns are a demon-send from hell. All the way solo on this one with no drums and thick tones. Nice for flashbacks and Halloween.
